A maternity session is a fun, thoughtfully guided hour in the studio for just yourself or the two of you, focused on capturing this stage of pregnancy in a natural and timeless way. The session is relaxed and unhurried, with gentle direction throughout so you never feel unsure of what to do. Up to three outfit changes are possible during the session. Lighting is adapted to suit the mood and feel of each setup, allowing for a mix of soft, sculptural, and more refined imagery. Sessions can include partners and up to 1 child if desired, and everything is paced around comfort and ease. Please note that if you have more children, the Family Photoshoot Package will be more suitable.

When to book: The ideal time for a maternity session is usually between 30 and 34 weeks of pregnancy. At this stage your bump is clearly visible, while you are often still comfortable enough for the session. Booking shortly after your 20 week scan is recommended to secure a space.

Newborn sessions are calm, baby led, and intentionally unhurried. The time allows space for feeding, cuddling, settling, and responding to your baby’s needs as they arise. Sessions include some images of your newborn alone, with each parent individually, and together as a family. The focus is on natural, connected moments rather than overly posed setups. Babies are guided gently, never forced, and parents are encouraged to simply hold, comfort, and be close. Siblings are always included, with the session flowing around the family as a whole.

When to book:

Newborn (5–14 days)

The ideal - this is the most natural time for those soft, sleepy, curled images. In the first couple of weeks, babies are still very settled and spend much of their time asleep. This allows for a slow, calm session.

A note on weeks 3–6

We don’t tend to photograph during this stage. Babies are often more awake but not yet settled or interactive, and baby acne is very common. It can be a more unpredictable phase in both mood and appearance, so we recommend either booking within the newborn window or waiting a little longer.

Early Baby (7–8 weeks)

A more awake, in-between stage. At this point, babies are less sleepy and more alert, but not quite socially engaged yet. You’ll often see lots of little expressions and movement, though they can still be a bit unsettled at times. This stage can be a nice alternative to capture, especially if the newborn window has passed.

Baby / Connection Session (10–14 weeks)

Our preferred stage after the newborn period. By this point, babies are generally much more settled, with clearer skin, strong eye contact, and those first real smiles beginning to appear. There’s a natural sense of connection and responsiveness here, which makes for really warm, expressive images.

NB. I recommend booking your newborn session during pregnancy, usually shortly after your 20 week scan, to ensure availability around your due date. We usually book you in for two weeks after your due date & you can then let us know once baby has been born.

Time: 1 hour to 90 minutes

This package is for those who would love both chapters documented, with a small saving when booking together. It offers continuity in style and feeling, from pregnancy through to the early newborn days. It includes:

• One maternity session (up to 1 hour, 15 edited images included)

• One newborn session (90 minutes, 20 edited images included)

Each session is approached in the same calm, unhurried way, with an emphasis on natural, connected imagery rather than overly posed setups. Together, they form a cohesive body of work that reflects this season as it unfolds.

Both galleries are delivered separately and can be upgraded together (see below), allowing you to decide whether you would like to keep the full set of images.

Family sessions are relaxed, playful, and intentionally imperfect. Especially with young children, there is often movement, snack breaks, wandering, and moments of chaos, and all of that is completely expected.

Time: 1 hour to 90 minutes

The session is guided with plenty of gentle prompts and simple games to keep things feeling light, fun, and easy for everyone. The aim is not perfect behaviour or fixed smiles, but real connection.

We focus on interaction, closeness, and those natural moments that unfold when families are simply together, rather than trying to perform for the camera.

Personal branding sessions are focused and planned to reflect you, your work, and the feeling you want your brand to convey. These sessions can be as minimal or as layered as you need, depending on how you plan to use the images. They are ideal for a refresh or a launch.

Time: up to 1 hour

Before the shoot, we discuss outfits, mood, and intended usage so everything feels aligned and considered. The session itself is guided but relaxed, allowing space for natural expression and authenticity.

This session works well as a starting point for personal branding. If you would like a more in depth shoot with additional outfit changes, varied setups, and the opportunity to capture different aspects of your business, the half day session may be a better fit.

A half day session is ideal for larger projects, extended personal branding shoots, retreats, or lifestyle sessions that benefit from more time and flexibility.

Time: up to 2.5 hours

Images: 85 edited images included. You will receive a carefully edited gallery to select your final images from.

Upgrade option: full gallery available after viewing for €200

The extended time allows for multiple setups, outfit changes, and a wider range of imagery, whether that’s capturing different facets of a brand, documenting an event as it unfolds, or working across more than one location if needed. The pace is intentionally slower, giving space for ideas to evolve naturally throughout the session.

These sessions can be planned in advance, with a clear sense of flow and intention, while still allowing room for spontaneity on the day. The result is a varied, cohesive collection of images that tells a fuller story and offers plenty of versatility in how the images can be used.
