My name is Mairéad Lucy Boland. I am a photographer and holistic therapist based in County Wicklow, Ireland.

Motherhood has deeply shaped my work. I am drawn to photography as a way of noticing what matters and preserving moments that pass quietly.

My style is artistic, documentary and minimalist. Sessions are gently guided and unhurried, with clear direction so clients feel comfortable and at ease. I specialise in maternity, newborn, family, couples and personal branding photography, creating pared back, intentional work with an emphasis on light, form and feeling.

Over the past two years, I have poured my heart into bringing my studio to life and learning to work with its many qualities of light. In recent months, I have trained Shelly closely in my approach and aesthetic, sharing everything I have learned within this space.

I am currently on maternity leave. During this time, sessions are photographed by Shelly. I remain closely involved behind the scenes, overseeing communication and gallery delivery, and feel grateful knowing the experience and final imagery will be held with the same care and attention that shape my own work.
